Hungarian invoicing and receipt integrations with less manual administration
AI Booking was built for Hungarian service providers and includes native Billingo and Számlázz.hu integrations. Booking, payment, invoicing and the configured receipt flow can be managed in one system. Registration and basic settings
The first step is registration that starts your 14-day trial without a credit card — just an email address or Google login is enough. The onboarding wizard walks you through your account basics (business name, contact, booking URL), then you set up your services: name, duration, price, description. Can be activated: Native Billingo integration — API-level connection. Your booking page is then already live, and your guests can book right away — with an average setup time of 15-30 minutes.

Working hours, calendar and notifications
In the second step, you set your working hours (weekly, daily, exceptions, time off), and connect your Google Calendar account so your private events also block booking slots. You decide which email templates are active (confirmation, reminder, follow-up) and when they go out (e.g. 24 hours before). In the Basic and Pro plans, you can also add SMS reminders. Can be enabled: Native Számlázz.hu integration — an alternative option. This way your guests receive an automatic, branded confirmation.

Sharing the link and daily use

How does it integrate with the booking process?
After successful payment, AI Booking initiates the configured document in the selected system. Required customer, service, amount and VAT data are transferred from a verified snapshot. Email notification is configurable and the process status remains visible in AI Booking.
VAT rates and special cases
Set the VAT code according to the provider's own tax status; there is no hard-coded default for everyone. Always consult an accountant or tax adviser for special or cross-border transactions.
Proforma invoice + bank transfer
If the guest doesn't pay online (e.g. pays via company bank transfer), the system automatically generates a proforma invoice, which the guest receives by email. Once the transfer arrives, you confirm the final invoice together with your accountant in the AI Booking admin. Useful for B2B bookings.
Refunds and cancellations
If you refund the guest's payment, the cancellation invoice is also generated automatically. The online invoicing system automatically reports the cancellation to the NAV (Hungarian tax authority). You only initiate the refund in the AI Booking admin — the rest is automatic.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a separate Billingo or Számlázz.hu subscription?
Yes, you need a separate subscription to your own plan with the invoicing provider. AI Booking only provides the API integration. Both Billingo and Számlázz.hu offer a free or low-cost starter plan.
Is invoicing automatic?
When automatic issuing and notification are enabled, the system queues the document after a successfully settled payment. The external provider's response time may vary; status is visible in the admin interface.
What if the guest's billing details are incorrect?
Required billing details must be complete before issuing an invoice. An issued tax document cannot be edited; an incorrect document may need to be cancelled and replaced according to the billing provider's rules.
Can I use it as a flat-rate or simplified taxpayer too?
Yes, both Billingo and Számlázz.hu handle Hungarian tax forms. For tax questions, it's always advisable to consult an accountant — the system automates the operational side.
Can multiple companies or multiple tax numbers be managed?
Yes, if you run several businesses, a separate AI Booking account is recommended for each — every account can have its own Billingo/Számlázz.hu connection. In the Pro package, a separate invoicing profile can also be configured per staff member.
What about foreign guests?
For foreign or intra-EU transactions, VAT treatment depends on the transaction and partner data. AI Booking passes the recorded data to the billing provider, but the tax classification must be determined with your accountant.
How is data reported to the Hungarian Tax Authority?
AI Booking initiates the document in the selected Billingo or Számlázz.hu account. The Hungarian Tax Authority connection, eligibility and current reporting requirements must also be configured correctly in the document provider account.
