Group booking: one booking for multiple participants
With group booking, one person can book a time slot for several participants at once — for a team, a group of friends, a family or a corporate group. The feature can be enabled and doesn't affect the usual single-person booking.
What does this mean in practice?
Ideal for group classes (yoga, workouts), corporate team-building, joint bookings for groups of friends, experience venues (shooting range, escape room, go-karting), and multi-person photoshoots.
Key Benefits
Capacity-aware time slots: the guest only sees available slots, with free-spot display and overbooking protection.
Per-participant card payment: everyone can pay their own fee separately.
Custom fields per participant and group discounts (from a headcount threshold).
Waitlist if the desired time slot is full — notification when a spot opens up.
How to use it in 3 steps?
- 1
Turn on the feature
In the booking settings, turn on group booking and choose the mode: package + headcount, named participants, or both.
- 2
Set up your services
For the desired service, enable group booking and set the capacity (staff/resource-based or a fixed number).
- 3
Optional extras
If needed, turn on per-participant payment, group discounts, custom fields per participant, or the waitlist.
more returning guests after the first 3 months — the combined effect of booking automation, reminders, and guest records. A typical result for providers; the exact figure depends on the industry and activity level.
How does it fit with the other features?
Two booking modes
In package + headcount mode, the booker selects a service and specifies how many people it's for. In named mode, each participant is entered individually, and everyone can choose a different service or package. The provider can decide whether to allow only one, or both, of these modes.
Capacity and available slots
The group time picker uses the same calendar as regular booking: only available days and times are clickable, and each slot shows how many spots are still free. Capacity is configurable per service — staff/resource-based or a fixed number — taking breaks into account.
Payment and discount
Per-participant payment can be enabled: each participant receives their own card payment link for their fee. A group discount can also be set, which is automatically applied to the total once a headcount threshold is reached.
Can be enabled, secure
Group booking is disabled by default and only appears to guests once the provider enables it. It doesn't affect existing single-person bookings or other settings, and it follows the usual approval logic.
